Thrangu House costs £30,000 a year simply to run itself. This money pays for bills, repairs, food, disposables, loan repayments, and Lama Wangyal’s living costs. It also costs a lot of money to host visiting teachers and their entourages. Although we only just manage to cover these costs, we are also busy trying to raise funds for developing projects such as the Monastery project and the Namo Buddha project. You can read about these projects in other pages on the website, and find links to forms designed to facilitate donations. You can contact me with any questions about the financial administration of the Thrangu Rinpoche Trust, or with any offers of financial aid. I am a member of the fundraising committee at Thrangu House, and if you would like information about the different ways in which you can be of assistance, including share-giving and legacies as well as direct financial aid, please give me a call—I would be pleased to explain our position further, and to hear how you could help us!
