Monthly public teachings and question and answer session



Lopon Karma Phuntsok will be giving public talks and question and answer sessions focussing on particular subjects within Tibetan Buddhism.

All public talks are scheduled for Saturdays from 6pm to 8pm. The following public talks are scheduled for 2011:

9th July The Importance of Buddhist Teachings
23rd July Teachings on Impermanence
13th August Cause and Effect (Karma)
10th September Parting from the Four Attachments
8th October Four Dharmas of Gampopa
12th November Important Benefits of going on Pilgrimage
10th December The View, Meditation and Conduct of Buddhism

Karma Phuntsok gave an introductory talk to members of Thrangu House, introducing himself and talking about the history of Tibetan Buddhism. This was his first meeting in Oxford with English members.

7th May 2011
Karma Phuntsok arrived in Oxford on 5th May 2011 and two days later he gave his first introductory talk to members of the Thrangu House Nepali community. Karma Phuntsok talked about loving kindness and compassion in Nepali.
